Is either string theory or m theory legitimate?
If it is, does it either disprove or meld quantum theory with Einstein's theory of an elegant predicable universe. What are some other competing theories that argue against string and m theory? I am not a really accomplished physics student but find this stuff fascinating. I got A s in Newtonian physics for one semester and am going to take another semester of electricity, magnetism, and optics. I also am curious about
